Who We Are
Home of the Homies is a nonprofit that was established with a twofold purpose. One is to help adults with DS have a more fulfilling life through programs, events and classes. Another is to teach and provide opportunities for all to learn about and have association with amazing people with an extra chromosome.
Our signature program is our dance classes called Hip Hop Homies with Xtra chromies. Our Homies love to dance and we've provided a fun way to encourage movement, making friendships and bringing joy and awareness through performing dance classes with limited performance outreach.

We want to help our friends get off of the couch and out of their rooms to create friendships, be creative, get to work and have some fun too!
Community Outreach
Our Homies like to showcase their talents to our community! Dancing, speaking and sharing love are a few ways they do that.
Education
We love to help people understand the amazing gifts our friends with with DS bring to this world and some of their challenges too. Through the program we’ve designed, we see new awareness and understanding from the elementary ages up to college and even to medical professionals in training.
